It was on a visit to Norfolk to visit our friends. We all have something in common, old cars. Most of our Norfolk friends own Morgan’s, mainly the three wheel variety. Our car though is not so valuable, but we have often ended up towing one Morgan or another when it’s broken down on one of our tours around the country lanes of Norfolk. It was on one of these little sojourns when we happened on a pub Called the Bluebell, where we stopped for lunch. I ordered Steak and ale pie. I have never tasted anything like it, perfect pastry that just melted in the mouth, and meat so tender and tasteful, it was divine!, Every time we go out for a meal now, we look for pie on the menu and compare it to “Bluebell pie”.
Extra
Whether you are a purveyor of meat,
Or just a man on the street
There’s one sure way to raise a smile
You should always, always go the extra mile.
If you’re a joiner cut a perfect mitre,
Never cut corners, to make the job lighter.
A full time poet, or maybe part time,
Never settle for anything, but the perfect rhyme.
