The sun shines upon our roof, providing us with electric, sheep’s wool insulation up there keeps us warm, about 400 mm in metric.
The rain fall off the roof goes to flush the loos, our wood burner heats the house if I remember to clean the flues.
Under our carpets there is foil, the sun also can make our kettle boil.
We have a boiler that’s quite unique, the waste heat generates power, a really good technique.
It’s not perfect in any way. “You want an eco bungalow people say” How do you do that you can’t find land? Our government won’t lend a hand.
So just us two in a house built for five, how stupid is that for saints alive!
Question, The British government, and many others probably, have pushed for electric cars. They are now a very common sight on our roads, but I haven’t seen any reports as to if this has helped clean up the atmosphere.
