Bob Dylan. (Pledging My Time)
Dear Mr Daily Prompt compiler. You are trying to get us to use our imaginations, but there’s a limit you know. (What time do I get up and what time do I go to bed?) Come on you can do better than that!
I get up when it comes light, I go to bed when it’s dark, somewhere in between, is walk in the park. I don’t like to fight the forces of nature, I’m just not that kind of civilised creature.
What happens in the daylight hours is another thing. Use your imagination, do I dance, do I write, do I go on stage and sing?
Please don’t ask me when I put on my shoes, or even when I use one of our loos. Theres much more to life than waking and sleeping. The only rhyme for that is sowing and reeping.
Meadowhead Bard.
Sometimes in those daylight hours there are random acts of kindness, something I specialise in myself, but on this occasion it was something done for me. We attended a classic car show with our old car, there happened to be a dog show at the same, and a photographer had set up stall to take photos of dogs. Unbeknownst to me, he had taken photos of my Bentley model we had taken with us, and presented me with the two photos below, totally free of charge. I know, there’s three photos below, I couldn’t figure out how to delete!
