Travel plans.

Not done any Dylan for a while so,

        Tomorrow we will travel to the M.O.T station to have our motorhome tested for roadworthiness. Here in the UK, this is classed as a form of legalised torture, as you sit and wait, stressed, to see how many thousand pounds any repairs are going to cost. As I have written before my wife has to go everywhere with me otherwise I may get lost on the labyrinthine streets, but on these occasions there’s another reason, I may have a mental breakdown! So, once this is done, and if we have not been declared bankrupt, we will be free to escape.

     Off to some other world, where nearly all is green, away from the noisy city to where the air is clean.

              Domestic travels.

         I’m going to travel to the kitchen, where I’ll have something to eat, I can smell somethings cooking my wife’s prepared a treat

Then I’ll travel back to the living room, turn on the tv, watch two episodes of Star Trek that’s enough for me.

Then I’ll travel I’ll up the stairs, with my lovely, lovely wife, get in to bed and think, one day I’ll get a life. 

         It’s not really like that though, it’s easy to be negative, there’s wonder in all parts of life, all we have to do is live.

         The food will be glorious, Star Trek often has a social side, and I when finally get to bed, my wife will be at my side.

         Life is a great journey full of twists and turns, where to park and where drive, as we age these things we learn.
