Meadowhead Bard

Random and surreal poetry satire and short stories.

I know what you’re Thinking.

My i.phone of course.
Oh I’m such a liar ! I wouldn’t have one of those things if they paid me. They are antisocial, and will eventually deprive our children of conversational skills. Not to mention the violent and vile content that’s often broadcast to young corruptible minds.

I take my feet, when I go for a stroll, else I may fall over that’s not good at all.
I take my legs, to connect my feet to my torso, in there’s my heart important ever more so.
I take my eyes to see the beauty all around, sometimes I see peoples souls, that’s what I’ve found.
I take my ears so I can hear the world a turning, and my brain of course, so I can keep on learning.
I take my mouth so I can pass on the truth, and sometimes someone’s turmoil I can help to smooth.
I Take my arms because you know I’m no mug, I may meet a lady in need of a hug.
