On reading my blogs one would think I was at peace. Truth is I still find peace hard to find, but at least I know where to look for it. It isn’t in my home or my garden because these are becoming a burden for me, the house too big, the garden difficult to manage. It has taken me 71 years (To the day in fact) to realise happiness and peace don’t come as material things. The irony is I know where I need to be but the system won’t allow me to be there. So I have to find peace in little pockets scattered about as and when I can.
I find it in friends, I find it in solitude, I even find it in coffee shops, but mainly in nature.
Hidden In Plain View.
Peace doesn’t come on lorry, or in a delivery van, I go out and find my own I’m a self sustaining man. It’s in the Forrest, in the sea, beside a babbling brook, I promise you it’s out there go and take a look.
Or maybe it’s in your garden, or a special place in your home. One place it won’t be for sure is on you mobile phone.
You can’t get it on the internet, or from that online store, once you go down that route, you’ll be buying more and more.
If you keep buying things thinking they will bring you peace, you will just clutter up your life, then all happiness will cease.
They don’t want you to find it, they just hope that you will fail, because if your life is full of peace, that’s no good for sales.
