This is straight forward question I can answer. It is bit of a struggle though, as we don’t watch any movies that contain gratuitous violence.
Before I go ahead with my list I would like to ask a question of all my readers.
Many years ago as an apprentice decorative plasterer, I was working away from home. The other workers and myself were staying In lodgings. It was evening the other lads went out for a meal, I stayed in with a migraine, and watched the tv. So, there was this movie on, I was that fixated by it, when it went off my migraine had gone. Trouble is despite all efforts I cannot now find what that movie was. The plot was about the building of electricity pylons through a town or village, and protesters. I think the protesters were actually the people building the pylons, because the protests culminated in the building of a pylon over the construction company bosses house over night.
It wasn’t an English film, either American, Canadian, or maybe Australian.
All this was 50-55 years ago (Yeh I’m that old) and I can’t remember any of the actors.
Here are my top ten movies.
The Graduate,
Paper Moon,
The Green mile.
The Art of Driving in the Rain.
The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
Star Girl.
A Complete Unknown.
Bound for Glory.
Worlds Fastest Indian.
Full Throttle.
Was there a Movie based on the TV series Friends?
Maybe, maybe not, anyway this is for all my friends out there.
Friends.
A group friends I have found, to be a precious thing, a diamond, a ruby, a beautiful golden ring.
Without these jewels in my life, I would go asunder, shining and special, people of joy and wonder.
All words by Meadowhead Bard.
I’m sorry not many of you liked yesterdays post, it was just a bit of fun, an experiment in word play.
