”My name it means nothing, my age it means less, the country I come from is called the Mid West, I was born and brought up there the rules to abide, and that the land that I live in has God on its side” From the song “With God on Our Side” By Bob Dylan, from the album “Another Side of Bob Dylan. The song is basically a study of how everyone and every country has God on its side. Who is right ? It’s an unfathomable question. In a war situation either one country has God on its side, or both countries do?
Ok, I wasn’t going to give away my name on my blog, security and all that, but I have made some good friends with the blog and they already know my name so here goes. My first name is Keith, I live in Yorkshire England but the name has its origins in Scotland. The Celtic meaning is wood or forest, it stems from the word cait meaning wood but can also mean a windy place. The name is very apt, as our main source of heat is wood, I love collecting and chopping logs, or at least I did until this year, I haven’t been able to do it because of my burnt hands.
My second name is Dungworth, this is not a generic name like Cooper or Smith. It either means a dwelling partly underground, or a dwelling with a dung roof. There is a village called Dungworth, in Derbyshire our neighbouring county, dating from the 13th century, the name solely originates from there, probably from just one family. Sometimes when I need to tell people my surname I will say “The G is silent”
THE SEAT OF DOOM.
Beware the cruel beasts that lurk, they may be in a cafe, or at your place of work.
They sit in wait against the cistern , then suddenly jump down, leaving you wet down to your shoes, and feeling such a clown.
All words Meadowhead Bard.

Dungworth village.
