If I could meet a hysterical figure, it would probably be Oliver Hardy. I would like to know why he was so cruel to little Stan. Seriously any bully would do even Hitler, I would love to know the workings of these bent and corrupted minds. Surely love is easier than hate, it can spread just the same, love someone eventually they will love you, hate someone and they will hate you back.
I have people come in the shop where I help out all the time, that are antagonistic, brusque, angry, sullen, you name it. Usually with time I soften them up, with friendliness and gentle humour, it’s very rewarding. I used to be intimidated, but found that tough outer shell to be just a mask, to guard inner insecurities
Words.
Misogynist, I found this word in a pile or dirt, I’ll look it up they’ll be no hurt. Someone who hates and abuses women, that word sent my head a swimmin’
I found a word down on the floor, it meant someone whose brain is poor. The word I found was xenophobic, its meaning made feel quite sick. Someone who hates anyone that’s different, someone whose very view is bent.
I found another down in the gutter, it’s meaning I could barely utter. A racist is someone who doesn’t like colour, if they opened their eyes their lives would be fuller.
A word I found in the toilet pan, was another word I couldn’t understand. That little word was war, I couldn’t understand what it was for.
I’d like to buy all the dictionaries, erase all these words with sweeps and flurries. Replace with a word that rhymes with dove, replace them with that little word love.
Note. My original rhyme for love was “From above” but I thought that had religious connotations and that wasn’t my intention.
All words Meadowhead Bard.
