Meadowhead Bard

Random and surreal poetry satire and short stories.

This Blog of Old Shoes.

I normally quote Dylan, but this time it’s Frank Sinatra. “These Vagabond Shoes” Although I always heard it as “This bag of old shoes I’m throwing away etc, etc “

This Blog of Old Shoes.

I don’t mind wearing my shoes, I don’t like to wear my trousers I just wear my shoes whilst going round the houses.

I don’t mind wearing my shoes, I don’t like to wear my shirt I just just wear my shoes whilst walking in the dirt.

I don’t mind wearing my shoes, I don’t like to wear my hat I just wear my shoes when chasing off a cat.

I don’t mind wearing my shoes, I don’t like to wear my coat I just wear my shoes whilst pushing out the boat.

I don’t mind wearing my shoes, I don’t like to wear my undies I just wear my shoes when going for coffee on Sundays.

I would wear my undies if they went up and down.
If I wore my hat out I’d look such a clown.

I could wear my trousers whilst grovelling on the floor same with the elbows of my shirt but I’m not grovelling any more.

All words Meadowhead Bard.
