One of my favourite books is called “The Trustee From the Toolroom” by Neville Shute” The main protagonist shares my first name, he is also a model engineer as am I, so it would be easy to shoehorn myself into that character.
You have two for the price of one today, my planned poem (The second one) didn’t work out as I hoped, so I’ve added a non compliant to prompt item.
Feed The Dog.
Feed your dog, not to do is just mean
What you should never do is feed the war machine
I’ve nothing against anyone having a pet
But the more you feed the rich the more dangerous they will get
Presidents, Prime Ministers, they matter not a jot
The ones that pull the strings, Musk, Bezos, and all that lot
Don’t give them food don’t give them water
Don’t give them succour show them no quarter.
CHARACTERS (Most used in the alphabet)
“A” You would think he’d be quite important, but he’s only number three
“B” At number twenty only six from the bottom, of the alphabet not the sea
“C” That hunchback of letters comes in at number thirteen
“D” At number ten stands for dirty, no telling where he’s been
I am “E” the most popular character by far is what I am
The most used letter in every, exciting, extraordinary, epigram
There are plenty of letters after my name
But not even “T” at number two has my claim to fame.
All words Meadowhead Bard.
