My little verse today inspired from a Bob Dylan song, “Don’t Fall Apart on me tonight” from the album Infidels.
I ain’t too good at conversation, girl, so you might not know exactly how I feel but if I could, l’d bring you to the mountaintop, girl and build you a house made out of stainless steel.
Bob Dylan
Another favourite line from the same source “
Sometimes I feel like a painting that’s hanging in Louvre, my throat starts to tickle and my nose itches, and I know that I can’t move”.
Bob Dylan.
My House.
I’d build a house out of stainless steel, well insulated with a loving feel.
Protected well from wolves and sharks, heated by the tiniest of sparks.
A sunlit garden for my lady to prowl, no sound at night but the hooting of owls.
A vista so pretty no cities in sight, no hooligans out looking for a fight.
No dependence on anyone else, no need for vast amounts of wealth.
Me and my lady would live there in peace, no one could touch us, worry would cease.
All words Meadowhead Bard, with the exception of the Dylan quotes.
