My favourite subject at school was the art of not getting beaten up ! Anyone at my first secondary school who was quiet and didn’t have aggressive tendencies was a target for the bullies. I found my escape route in my creative skills. I would create things for the bullies, sometimes playthings, sometimes creations to get them through practical exams, and keep them on my side. Yes I know, that was tantamount to abetting cheating., but it was all about survival. Fortunately we moved house, and therefore school, after a few years of this wretched existence, and things were not as bad at my second school. I was that far behind in my lessons however with all the ducking and diving, my education amounted to virtually nothing. All I have learned since I have learned myself, and as am sure you will know if you are a regular reader of my posts, my achievements are numerous.
Talking of lessons.
