The UK National Lottery has been running about 30 years so every week for that 30 years I haven’t gambled a single Pound Sterling So that’s £1,560.00 I’ve won, You see I just don’t do luck, not of the material kind any way, I have tried various competitions, lotteries raffles etc, but never won anything. I also consider myself unlucky regarding accidents and health, there was the cancer, the broken foot, the burns, my recent fall etc, etc. But you know what? I don’t care ! Because I have friendship and love.
That Saturday a few weeks ago, when I fell on the ice, a friend had seen, she came later to the shop to see if I was Ok. She then walked all the way up the hill to get my spikes for my boots so I could get home safe.
I wrote her this little verse and sent it on a messager app.

I struggled with cancer, then found the answer, I had all my friends with me.
When I was horribly burned I once again learned, I have all my friends with me.
