The Devils Trump Card.

The prompts go round and round, I’m sure we’ve covered this subject before. If AI got his school report it would certainly say “Must try harder”

So I’ve written about decisions that changed a life (Everyone’s lives) from someone else’s perspective. I know I written a lot about this particular individual, but watching him is like a recurring nightmare, and this is how my mind tries to make sense of it.

THE DEVILS TRUMP CARD.

I decide I want my own way, won’t do what mummy says
I’ll scream and shout bring misery in so many different ways
I’ll throw my toys out of my pram until I get some sweets
“I want a toy gun, I want a gun ! “ You’re not getting any sleep!

“I want that toy you have got” to my peers at the nursery
“I want your candy, and spending money or I’ll beat you don’t you worry”
I decided this was a good way to live my life, to bully and cajole
Then this man with horns came to me one day and said “Do you want to sell your soul?”

I did sell my soul, it was a decision I never regretted
So that is how I got to where I am, never worried never sweated
I decided to found an empire, luck or something else behind me all the time
Didn’t care much for anyone else, just a case of mine all mine

I decided climate change, is phoney and all lies
How can I make billions with all the legislation, red tape and more besides
So now I own all the world a feeling oh so sweet
Now that man with horns is back “I want to talk to you tout-de-suite!”

Here in the UK we get a greetings card from the King or Queen when (If) we reach one hundred years old. I just wondered if, in the USA does a centenarian get a Trump card?
