This is a strange one, it sort of came to me as if I was talking to myself, then I realised it’s what my wife would say if she expressed herself in as wordy way as I.
I have had three close encounters with the holder of the scythe. our motorhome once overturned on the motorway, the cancer, then the burns, Ok so the burns weren’t life threatening, but I could have lost my hand and arm. I have always considered myself a bit of a coward, never liking confrontation, not the typical male, but the way I held together during those three incident proves I am strong.
SIT DOWN MY LOVE.
Sit down my love, you are stronger than you think
Three times, you have been close to the brink
You have fought many dragons, and the struggle that is life
Sit down and rest my love, listen to your wife.
Ok you’re getting weary, life lays heavy on your shoulders
Rely on me and our friends, and the love that holds us
You have fought before, you will fight again, strength is your main feature
I do not fear while you are hear, you will fight off any creature
When it’s time to lay down your pen which is mightier than any sword
You have done your best to fix this world, it is written in every word
So sit and rest my love, there are still many battles to fight
I will rest and sleep my love, but tomorrow’s another night.
All words Meadowhead Bard.
