A Watched Kettle.

Whilst you you are reading this, although you may have been watching it for hours, your kettle will be boiling.

“When your backs against the wall turn around and fight”, “Cheap as chips” was once a thing, but now is just not right. They say “The darkest hour comes right before the dawn” I proved that one wrong when I slept out on our back lawn
“Cheap at half the price”, means it’s expensive now? “All is not butter that comes from a cow” “A watched kettle never boils” true unless you heat it, “The pot calling the kettle black” that’s a racist way to treat it.
“Never look a gift horse in the mouth”, especially if it’s Trojan, “The fox in the chicken shed”, yes probably a commotion. “Too many cooks spoil the broth”, in that case I’ll have the steak, “Money doesn’t talk it swears” of that there’s no mistake.
