A verse from Bob Dylan’s “Series of Dreams” an out take from his Infidels album, available on “Biograph” a collection of out takes.
“In one, the surface was frozen In another, I witnessed a crime In one, I was running, and in another all I seemed to be doing was climb. Wasn’t looking for any special assistance, not going to any great extremes I’d already gone the distance Just thinking of a series of dreams”
DREAMING INTO REALITY.
I dream of nonsensical things, aliens and trumpets
I dream of pigs with wings, tattooed men in singlets
I dream of falling, I dream of climbing,
In one dream I have lost my timing
I dream of lions, I dream of flies,
I dream there’s hot blood in my eyes
I dream of a butterfly caged and try to free it
I had a dream of common sense, I wish everyone could see it.
All words Meadowhead Bard, except excerpt from Bob Dylan’s Series of Dreams.
