Short of time today, so just a short new poem.
I’ve added a second longer one from the archive.
HI MY NAME’S BILLY.
I ate anything when I was a kid
But I was only doing what other kids did
I once ate a hand bag, a shoe, and a coat
You’ve probably guessed by now I’m goat.
Billy the Kid.
Billy the Kid was an artist,
The fastest brush in the west.
His enemy though quick draw Mc Crow,
Always thought he was the best.
So there they stood brushes at the ready,
Easels upright and loaded,
Mc Crow drew his brush out first,
But Billy left his easel and ran forward.
Barely a stroke did Mc Crow make,
He needed more paint, and bent to get it.
He just put his brush back to canvas,
As Billy got there and et it.
All words Meadowhead Bard.
