What a bizarre question! Why would I want to go to see a movie I thought I was going to hate? The nearest I can get is the first Rocky movie staring Silvester the Cat playing Rocky Billboard the boxer and Burgess Penguin as his trainer. I abhor violence in any form, but this film did have a certain charm, and a rank outsider winning is a good thing.
The only reason I went to see it was I was working away from home in London, our apprentice was very insular and shy he badly wanted to see the movie, no others in my team would go so I took him.
Usually with my wife and I, it’s the other way around, we think we are going to watch something innocuous and it turns out violent. The censorship standards seem so low now.
Shoot M All
“Blow M up, shoot M up, we will kill them all”
With this kind of propaganda, civilisation will soon fall
We tell our kids to be kind and loving, of course this make perfect sense
Then we expose them to gratuitous violence.
