The Risqué Play.

Those of a prudish disposition, maybe shouldn’t read this. It is though based in truth, we did pay a lot of money to see the play, and it did contain foul language, almost every other word in fact.
Now although I never swear myself, I used to work on building sites so I do know all the profanities. The following uses innuendo and word play, so no actual swear words are used.
If you do not like it please let me know, I have another in a similar vein about Mr Grey the gardener, it’s called “Fifty Spades of Grey”.

The Play.
We went to a play, there was a lot of swearing,
It all seemed superfluous to me,
Like a man with two hats wearing.
On this play we went to see, we’d spent a lot of money,
And with all this money spent it wasn’t looking funny.

When the cast had finished they went to see their bankers,
They all showed us much gratitude.
Indeed they were a load of thankers.
All that swearing that we heard made me want to rant,
I find it rather pointless and just a load of cant.

All words Meadowhead Bard.
