Random and surreal poetry satire and short stories.

Stay Forever On Your Guard.

Dylan inspired again today, this time from his song “Forever Young” a song which written for his son, both opens and closes his album “Planet Waves” Fast pace for the opener and slow pace for the close.
My favourite line “May your hands always be be busy, may your feet always be swift, may you keep a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift”

ADVICE

Always know yourself and to your own self be true, always know your own worth and the love surrounding you. Never call anyone sir, your honour your or holiness, steal away from the egotistic and the sanctimonious
If someone wants to help you, always ask “What for?” and never put your hand up in the middle of a war.

All words excepting Bob Dylan quotes Meadowhead Bard.

Not sure about the “what for” element, Keith. Life doesn’t have to be transactional and, as you know, there are a few selfless folk out there.

    1. Worried that may be misconstrued, I was alluding more to banks and businesses, than private individuals, and I try to avoid being condescending, explaining what I’m trying to say.
