Souls

I would have loved to have written, about the fish”sole” or even shoe soles, and there is another of course but I’m not going there, the spelling isn’t the same so it wouldn’t really work.
If the definition of “Soul mate” is someone I am strongly connected to then yes I have one of those, but a soul as an ethereal entity, that I do not believe in.

The below are my own beliefs, I do not wish to offend anyone of any faith or religion, we all make our own choices.

Souls

I don’t believe in pixies, I don’t believe in elves
I do believe it’s time people believed in themselves
I don’t believe in the tooth fairy, no sixpence under my pillow
I don’t believe in Heaven above or a hell below

A soul is just another imaginary creation
We are what we are no need for further explanation
We are not looked down on from a god above
No Devil looks up at us, what we do have though is love.

Love is the key, that will unlock the door
The door to a better world and many things more
Throw off the shackles of voodoo and myth
Reject all the jealousy and hate religion comes with

Are we human or are we a plague?
Answer the question do not be vague
Stand on the shore hold up your hands
Tell the false gods no more, will we follow your commands.

All words Meadowhead Bard.
